| Jacob Daniel Ludowise was expected to arrive sometime during the first or second week of April. We had heard anywhere from April 2nd to April 11th but to our surprise, he arrived at 10:03 am on Wednesday, March 13. |

| Laura's water broke on Tuesday morning. She worked all day long with minor contractions. When she got home that evening, they started to get worse but the duration was still 10 min. apart. At 9:15 pm, they became unbearable and were coming every 5 min. Being 30 minutes away, we headed to the hostpital. Laura had contractions every now and then through out the night. Around 7:15 Wednesday morning, Laura started to push. At around 8:00 am., we could see the head. The head kept getting closer until sometime after 10:00 am, she delivered. |

Being that the baby came around 4 to 5 weeks early, he only weighs 5 lbs. 3 oz. but is 19 in. long. He makes for a long slender looking lad with brown hair and blue eyes. Laura and the baby are doing fine but are exhausted. We should be at the Mercy hostipal of Janesville till Friday, March 15 in room 3211 on the third floor. Come for a visit if you get a chance, Dan |

| P.S. Don't worry.... Plenty of pictures to come. I even have an idea of setting up a web cam over the crib but Laura won't let me. We'll see if she comes around. |
